Commissioner of Police Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar today called upon the people to adhere by Covid precautions and protocols to save their own precious lives along with that of their family members.

In a statement issued here today, the Commissioner of Police said that keeping in view the surge in Covid cases, people must take utmost precaution to keep the virus at bay. He said that this was the high time when people must exercise self restraint for checking the spread of Covid 19 pandemic. Mr. Bhullar said that Police would do its duty to enforce the mandatory covid protocol but people should voluntarily follow the rules for winning war against Corona.

The Commissioner of Police said that the people have to play a vanguard role for further checking the spread of Covid 19 and should wear the mask and follow social distancing at the public places. He said that the residents of Jalandhar have already combated the Corona virus successfully and now when threat of virus was again looming large the role of public enhanced has enhanced manifolds. Mr. Bhullar said that people should help the administration for checking the spread of Covid 19 further so that the state could be saved from its wrath.

The Commissioner of Police further said that in wake of the fresh guidelines issued by the Punjab government led by the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police was fully geared up for meeting the new challenge. He said that the directions of the Chief Minister would be implemented in true letter and spirit in the larger public interest. Mr. Bhullar said that no stone would be left unturned by the Commissionerate Police to serve the people of the district and to save their precious lives.
