The festival of Ahoi Ashtami would be celebrated on October 28, four days after Karwa Chauth. The day is celebrated on Ashtami of Krishna Paksha. On this day, mothers fast for their long lives, progress, happiness and prosperity. Mothers don’t eat or drink anything and in the evening worship goddess Ahoi. Later, offer water to star and conclude their fast.
On this auspicious day, god Shiva and goddess Parvati are worshipped along with their sons. Ahoi Mata is also worshipped in the evening.

Ahoi Ashtami 2021: Puja Vidhi
The day of Ahoi Ashtami is started with a bath and then the mothers take a vow of fasting for the well-being of their children. After sunset, Ahoi Mata is worshiped. To worship maa Ahoi, first, a picture of Ahoi Mata and her seven children is made on the wall with ocher or Ahoi Mata's calendar available in the market can also be worshipped.
Then worship Ahoi Mata with rice and roli and offer parshaad to Ahoi Mata. Now listen to the story of Ahoi Mata with seven grains of wheat in hand.
After this, offer water and wheat grain to the stars and break your fast.
