On Thursday, 29th August, the Janasena party leader Ramesh Babu slammed actor Allu Arjun and threatened him declaring that he will not allow Allu’s upcoming movie’s to release in the Gannavaram region until and unless Allu Arjun cleans the feet of Actor Cheeranjivi and Pawan Kalyan with water and sprinkles it on his head before 6th of December, (the release date of Pushpa 2).
Janasena Party leader Ramesh Babu further added, “Allu Arjun is a comedy actor and not a hero. Ram Charan is a hero because of the way he conducts and carries himself, and the kind of service he does.”. Few minor leaders of the party are calling for a boycott of Pushpa 2 in Andhra Pradesh.
Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action-drama movie written and directed by Sukumar. The movie was initially slated to release on 15th August 2024 but got delayed due to non-completion of shoot. Now, the film is rescheduled to release on 6th December 2024. The movie will release in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali and Malayalam.
This controversy starts from Allu Arjun’s Nandyal visit before the election in Andhra Pradesh. This visit led to accusations of violating the Model Code of Conduct and a case was also filed against him.
In clarification the actor said his visit was a gesture of friendship, fulfilling a promise to support YSRCP candidate and his friend Silpa Ravi Reddy in Nandyal. This visit of Allu Arjun has become the reason of conflict between Pawan Kalyan and Chiranjeevi (actors turned politicians).
Recently, in a press conference, actor turned politician, Pawan Kalyan said, “Around 40 years ago, a hero was someone who safeguarded forests from poachers and smugglers. Now, however, the hero is often portrayed as someone who destroys forests and engages in smuggling.”
This comment of Pawan Kalyan quickly grabbed a lot of attention on social media, and people linked it with Allu Arjun’s role in the movie Pushpa: The Rise.
Amidst the ongoing controversy, Pushpa 2 producers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar spoke and expressed their concerns to Pawan Kalyan about the controversy around their upcoming movie. However, Pawan Kalyan has assured the producers that the release of ‘Pushpa 2: The rule’ will be trouble free.
