In a harrowing development, a woman was shot and killed while she was home alone with her 2 children in the town of Rajasansi in Amritsar, Punjab.
There was a dispute between the accused and the victim over an old grudge, due to which some people came to her house in the daytime. Meanwhile, this woman and her two small children were alone, during which they threatened the victim and asked about her family. After that, the woman called her husband and informed him that some people have come to the house and are threatening to kill her. These persons then climbed over the wall of the house and fatally shot the woman twice.
The personnel from the Rajasansi police station promptly reached the spot to investigate. According to reports, the police is currently scanning the CCTV footage for a trace of the miscreants. The police claim that the suspects will soon be arrested.
