Anand Ambani, the younger son of Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in Asia, got married to Radhika Merchant. Following the exchange of garlands, the couple engaged in seven phara's of combat and carried out the Sindoor daan ritual.
The wedding procession left from Antalya and reached Jio World Center at 4:30 p.m. on July 12. After reaching the wedding venue, many celebrities, including Priyanka Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Rajinikanth, wrestler John Cena, Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Jhanvi Kapoor, and Arjun Kapoor, danced a lot. Also, there was a musical performance by Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam artists in the ceremony.
British PM Tony Blair, former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav, former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, and Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee, along with more than 2000 celebrities and leaders from India and abroad, attended the wedding.
The theme of the wedding and awards has been kept as “An Ode to Varanasi." On the second day of the 3-day event, on Saturday, there will be a dinner for special guests in the “Shubh Ashirwad” program. PM Narendra Modi may also grace the ceremony with his presence.
After the wedding at Jio World Center, Radhika Anand reached Antaliya for the first time, where they were given a warm welcome. Flowers were showered on Anant Radhika, and Shloka Ambani welcomed both of them at home by applying Tilak.
