Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are now officially married, varmala ceremony goes viral

Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani exchanged varmala at their lavish wedding, which took place at the Jio World Convention Centre. A video of the varmala ceremony from Anant and Radhika's wedding surfaced on social media. Radhika looked stunning in her bridal lehenga designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Her wedding ensemble was a traditional interpretation of 'Panetar,' a Gujarati tradition where brides wear red and white. Anant complemented Radhika in a red sherwani.

Their varmala ceremony is over, and the couple is now expected to take pheras around the scared fire.The varmala was followed by a Ponkhnu ceremony where the bride's mother welcomes the groom to the mandap. Shaila Merchant, the mother of Radhika Merchant, was filmed welcoming Anant Ambani.

The star-studded event was attended by A-listers including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, John Cena and Kim Kardashian. 

The wedding ceremonies started today at 3:00 PM, as per the schedule. At around 11 in the  evening, the bride and groom exchanged floral garlands during the Varmala ceremony. These events hold great significance as they signify the couple's official union.

Celebrities and guests alike celebrated amid lavish decorations and touching moments, marking the union of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant with joy and festivity. The ceremony, captured in all its splendour on social media, showcased the grandeur and elegance befitting such a momentous occasion.

The Ambani-Merchant wedding will take place over 3 days. While sticking to traditional Hindu Vedic customs, the main ceremonies commenced on Friday, July 12, with the auspicious Shubh Vivah, or wedding function. The celebrations will continue on Saturday, July 13, with Shubh Aashirwad. The final event, Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception, is scheduled for Sunday, July 14.
