The heated divorce battle of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt based on the allegations of domestic violence has recently added new updates. Divorce attorney Kelly Chang Rickert recently revealed some candid details about the details to daily mail. Reportedly, each has spent USD 1 million for the trial.
“I think this could become one of the most expensive divorce cases in Hollywood history in terms of legal fees”, Kelly started with this. She said that the divorce has been going on for four years now making it the longest trial case ever seen. To this Kelly added, “I believe Angelina and brad have already spent over USD 1 million each. They both are employing very reputable professionals and Angelina has already gone through several”. In very specific detail attorney Rickert mentioned the hourly rate ranges between USD 1000 to USD 1500 where Angelina and Brad’s lawyers might be billing 40-50 hours a week.

Expert witness fees can be added as another factor in the making of the most expensive divorce trial. Back in August 2020, Brad’s lawyers presented 21 witnesses for the child custody issue which included mental health scholars. Even Angelina presented 5 expert witnesses for the same.
Adding onto the case Kelly said, “very nasty ones keep going” and as Angelina keeps on changing attorney it is very clear on her part that she is very adamant to win her battle and won’t be giving up soon. This messy divorce tells that it’s worse to have so much money because people will go on fighting until the other party finally runs out of money.
