Statistics show that on an average 60-70 patients are coming to an 'Aam Aadmi Clinic' in the state for treatment every day, among which a large number of female patients are included.
More than 300 Aam Aadmi Clinics have been opened in urban areas and more than 500 clinics have been opened in rural areas across Punjab. With the successful operation of these clinics, the pressure of routine patients on public government hospitals in Punjab has now reduced.
In Punjab, 84 types of free medicines and more than 40 types of diagnostic tests are available at these clinics. Each Aam Aadmi Clinic is staffed with a medical officer, pharmacist, clinic assistant and helper providing quality healthcare services free of cost.
