Congress denied the allegations surrounding 'Congress toolkit'. The Chief of Research Department of Congress tweeted, “BJP is propagating a fake ‘toolkit’ on Covid-19 management and attributing it to AICC Research Department. We are filing FIR for forgery against BJP chief JP Nadda and Sambit Patra. When the country is devastated by Covid, instead of providing relief, BJP shamelessly concocts forgeries.”

Earlier, the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) hit out against the toolkit of the opposition party and stated that the party members are trying to tarnish the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sambit Patra also said that the Congress party wanted to name a new mutant of coronavirus after the name of India, and it is Congress who is calling ‘Kumbh Mela 2021’ the super spreader of coronavirus.

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra citing a document tweeted, “Friends look at the Congress Toolkit in extending help to the needy during the pandemic! More of a PR exercise with the help of ‘Friendly Journalist’ and ‘Influencers’ than a soulful endeavor.”

The same thread was then followed by BJP President JP Nadda and Union Minister Samriti Irani.

JP Nadda tweeted, “Dividing society and spewing venom against other… Congress is a master at this. India is seeing Congress’ antics, while the nation is fighting Covid-19.”

“I would urge Congress to go beyond ‘Toolkit Models’ and do something constructive.”

Samriti Irani’s tweet read, “My country, our country is at war with virus.”

“I can understand the opposition would want to attack the government. But singularly commercialize it as a political opportunity and deal in death, I never imagined Congress was capable of such a low.”
