In India, it is assumed that cow urine cures lung infection caused due to coronavirus, said BJP MP Pragya Thakur. Pragya Thakur has said this when the country is fighting against the covid-19 virus.
She also mentioned that she takes cow urine every day and only because of it she has been protected from the virus. Pragya Thakur was heard saying, “If we have ‘desi gau mutra (urine from an indigenous cow)’ every day, then it cures lung infection because of Covid. I am in deep pain but I take cow urine every day. So now, I don’t have to take any medicine against coronavirus and I don’t have coronavirus.”

Two years ago, in a statement, she said that a mixture of cow urine and other cow products have cured her of cancer.
Last year in December, Pragya Thakur was admitted to the Delhi’ AIIMS hospital over Covid-like symptoms.
From Cow-dung therapy to drinking cow urine regularly, doctors are warning Indians against unproven cures of Covid-19. The Indian Medical Association has said that there is no specific prove that cow dung or urine is a treatment against Covid-19.
Dr Jayal, the head of the medical body in IMA said, “There is no concrete scientific evidence that cow dung or urine boosts immunity against Covid-19.”

Earlier, the same statement was said by Uttar Pradesh BJP MLA Surendra Singh, who said, “I recommend cow urine with a glass of cold water.”
Last year, when pandemic started, BJP Bengal Chief Dilip Ghosh said, “I have no qualm in accepting I consume cow urine.” He declared the same in an event in Kolkata and urged people to drink urine.
