Bombay High Court grants bail to Rhea Chakraborty on terms and conditions denies bail to her brother Showik Chakraborty

The bench also allowed the bail applications of Sushant Singh Rajput's domestic helps Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant

After 29 days of judicial custody, the Bombay High Court on Wednesday pronounced its verdict on the bail plea of Rhea Chakraborty and Showik Chakraborty. Bombay High Court granted bail to Rhea Chakraborty but rejected bail for Abdul Parihar and Showik in NCB's case against them under various provisions of the NDPS Act. 

The bench also allowed the bail applications of Sushant Singh Rajput's domestic helps Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant.

Pronouncing its verdict the Bombay High Court said, "Rhea should mark her present for ten days in the nearest police station for ten days after release. She should deposit her passport and should not travel outside the country without the prior permission of the court."

The Bombay High Court also said, "Rhea should inform the investigating officer if she has to leave out of Greater Mumbai."

A single bench of Justice Sarang V Kotwal had reserved orders on the bail applications on September 29, after a marathon hearing which lasted from 11 AM till about 7 PM.
