CBSE Class XII Board Exams cancelled by Centre amid Covid-19 crisis

Amid the ongoing conditions due to the Covid-19 crisis, the Central Board of Secondary Education on Tuesday cancelled the Class XII Board Exams for 2021.

The decision has been taken in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi held to review all plausible options to conduct the exams amid the second wave of the pandemic.

The CBSE has now stated that the results of Class 12 students will be prepared on the basis of the well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner.

It may be noted here that in the last years, some students who apsired to take the exams, were given an option to appear for the same when the situation would be conducive.
