The rising trend of theft incidents in Jalandhar continues, with the latest case involving the famous KP Bakery. Two youths were caught red-handed attempting to steal a box of chocolates from the bakery.
The CCTV footage shows the two youths scoping out the bakery’s goods. One of them picked up a box of chocolates, stood for a moment, then attempted to hide the box in his trousers before making a run for it. However, the bakery owner spotted the act caught them just as they were about to leave the shop. The owners confronted the youths and started a brawl in the bakery as a family watched in the background.
The bakery owner, Kunal, explained that he spotted the thieves on the CCTV footage as they were attempting to steal a box of chocolates worth Rs 850. Kunal noticed the theft and immediately alerted the police. Upon arrival, the police took the two suspects into custody and further investigation is underway.
