A new war-like situation is in the making between China and the Philippines after the Filipino Navy was attacked in the South China Sea. The Chinese Navy armed with knives, axes & sickles attacked the Filipino Navy in a disputed shoal in the South China Sea. As per reports, Chinese coast guard personnel arrived over eight motorboats and repeatedly rammed two Philippines navy boats. Not only this, the Chinese troops boarded and damaged their vessels with machetes, knives, and hammers. Now, China & Philippines Navy fight video is doing rounds on social media.

As per the Filipino officials quoted by a newswire, the Chinese coast guard attacked the boats to prevent the Philippine navy troops from transferring food and other supplies, including firearms, to Filipino troops stationed on the Second Thomas Shoal, which is claimed by Beijing.

After the argument and repeated collisions, it was clear that the Chinese forces were keen to escalate the situation and it was pre-planned. The Chinese coast guard personnel jumped on board the Philippine navy vessels and seized eight M4 rifles, which were packed in cases, navigation equipment, and other supplies.

Philippines Army on its official X handle wrote, "In a brazen act of aggression, the CCG obstructed the AFP's critical humanitarian rotation and resupply operations at BRP Sierra Madre (LS57) in Ayungin Shoal on June 17, employing physical attacks, bladed weapons, blaring sirens, and blinding strobe lights.

Despite facing overwhelming numbers and harassment from the CCG, Filipino troops valiantly fought back and defended their position. The AFP maintains professionalism and steadfast commitment to uphold international law and preserve peace in the region.

CCG personnel violently attached ropes to tow the AFP's RHIB while threatening to injure an AFP soldier w/ a pickaxe. They also employed blaring sirens to create chaos, disrupt communication, and divert the attention of AFP troops, exacerbating the hostile & dangerous situation.

The CCG launched a brutal assault on the AFP personnel aboard an AFP Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB), aggressively ramming it and brandishing bladed and pointed weapons, explicitly threatening to harm AFP troops."
