The Congress' internal struggles have put Jalandhar's three Vidhan sabha seats in jeopardy: Jalandhar North, Jalandhar West, and Jalandhar Central. It should be a topic to worry by the Congress itself rather than other parties like AAP or BJP.

As can be seen, many of the initiatives promised by Congress are still pending. And, as a result of these fresh controversies, Congress's reputation could be tarnished.
Bawa Henry has been handed the ticket for the Jalandhar North seat by Congress. The AAP, on the other hand, has granted Dilesh Dhall the ticket to run against him. Dilesh Dhall and his brother have been staunchly supported by the Congress Party. He is known to be connected to Rana Gurjit, the MLA of Kapurthala. Rana Gurjit has a significant influence on this field. He has already won a seat in the Jalandhar Legislative Assembly. Dinesh Dhall is said to have Rana Gurjit's full support, which could enable him to increase his dominance in this area. Even Congress's partials are known to have been associated with Dilesh Dhall on the inside. All of this might be a significant danger for Bawa Henry, as well as a powerful competitor. Although the BJP has not declared a candidate for this seat, it is being viewed as a war by Congress against Congress, which is causing more complications for Bawa Henry.
In the case of Jalandhar Central, Rajendra Beri has once again been chosen as the contender for this seat. The mayor of Jalandhar, Jagdish Raja, was also a candidate for the ticket, but his candidacy was canceled by the High Command, who instead put their trust in Beri. Beri, on the other hand, has been dealing with a slew of issues and difficulties from within the party. The mayor has been against Beri, and many other partials who have had a significant impact in the area have joined him. Even Jasleen Sethi, the president of the Women's Congress, has spoken out against Beri. Despite the fact that it is a Hindu and urbanized region, she claims that the roads are in poor condition. In the last 4.5 years, there has been no productivity or development. Even when it starts, it always ends up being incomplete. All of this non-development and poor state of such urban areas might be regarded to be detrimental to Beri. Furthermore, there will be no gains from the partials in the same area, particularly the mayor. The mayor, who was formerly a close friend of Beri's, has now become a ruthless rival. All of this could teach Congress a valuable lesson and be a major reason why they are unable to get public support and so receive no votes.
When it comes to Jalandhar West, it's clear that Sushil Rinku has been given the ticket by Congress. Mahendra Singh KP, a former Congress MLA, and Dalit activist have openly challenged him. Punjab CM Charanjit Channi, a member of the Congress, also supports Mahendra Singh KP because he is a close relative of the CM. Within the party, there is a lot of opposition to Rinku. It will be hard for Rinku to compete and win the seat if KP's supporters do not back him. As can also be observed, AAP's Shital Anurag has leveled numerous serious and heinous claims against Rinku, including allegations of alcohol smuggling and much more. It is expected that the BJP will grant tickets to representatives from the Bhagat Community, including Mahendra Bhagat, the son of ex-Minister Bhagat Chunni Lal. If this is accomplished, KP's battle will be placed on Rinku in the next period. With his efforts and reputation, KP has had a significant impact in the field.

Mukesh, a resident of Jalandhar North's Kila Mohalla, claims that local MLA Bawa Henry has neglected the area. We have yet to see a solution to any of the problems, large or little. On rainy days, everything is a jumble, and Attari Bazar seems like a swamp. He emphasized Henry's naive demeanor even throughout Covid's period.

Local MLA Rajendra Beri has shown no interest, according to Surendra Singh of Surya Enclave in the Jalandhar Central constituency. Since and before the elections, the roads have been clogged, causing various problems for the residents. Even if there were issues with Flyover and other things, Beri has refused to pay attention to them.

Surendra Singh, Jalandhar Central Constituency, stated that the local MLA has not been able to resolve any issues, even during the Covid era. Even when the residents tried to contact him, he did not pick up the phone to listen to our complaints.
Meena Kumari, a resident of Jalandhar West Main Bhargav Camp, spoke about the addiction to alcohol and how purchases are made freely and without restriction. The area has seen a significant increase in crime. Local MLA Rinku, on the other hand, has shown no interest in exercising control over or investing his time in such affairs in this area.

Muni Ram, a local MLA from Rinku's Basti region, also stated that there was no sufficient assistance throughout the Covid period, and that distribution of basic requirements and government-provided wheat was done very badly and without suitable manners. Rinku has only demonstrated discourteous behavior toward his own area, as one might expect.
It is clear that if these internal disputes worsen, it will be extremely difficult for the people of these places, as well as the Congress' representatives, to resolve and prevail.
