Amid the rising grim of Covid-19 in the nation, the government of India has postponed the NEET-PG exam 2021. The decision has come just a day after the government canceled class 10 and postponed class 12 CBSE board exams to safeguard the lives of future doctors.

Notably, this year's NEET-PG exam was scheduled for April 18. The final NEET exam date will be decided by the government later after reviewing the corona cases in the nation.

The news of exam postponement was announced by Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Minister for Health and Family Welfare on his official Twitter handle.

The second wave of coronavirus pandemic has hit India hard and certain states have placed restrictions again to curb the spread of the virus. Due to the restrictions, the students were quite distressed about mobility issues as some of the aspirants had their exams in the neighboring states instead of their home states.
