Cristiano Ronaldo, a Manchester United and Portugal star, announced on Instagram on Thursday that he and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, are expecting twins.

Cristiano Ronaldo, a Manchester United and Portugal star, announced on Instagram on Thursday that he and his partner Georgina Rodriguez are expecting twins.

"Delighted to announce we are expecting twins. Our hearts are full of love - we can't wait to meet you," Ronaldo captioned the post. Ronaldo also had a snapshot of him and Georgina with their twins' ultrasound scans. Ronaldo was shown in a swimming pool with his four children in the second photograph in the post.

Cristiano Junior, the footballer's eldest son, was born to a surrogate mother in June 2010.


Ronaldo became the father of twins Eva and Mateo in the same way seven years later, in June 2017. Alana Martina, his first child from his union to Rodriguez, who was born in November 2017.


Ronaldo expressed his desire for seven children to France Football in 2017.


The 36-year-old Portuguese footballer joined Premier League heavyweights Manchester United from Italian side Juventus earlier this season, paving the way for a dramatic comeback at the club where he began his career as one of the finest players of his generation.


Ronaldo owns the record for most international goals scored, a feat he accomplished earlier this season. In his return to United, he has already put in numerous outstanding performances, but he has struggled in the Premier League in recent weeks.


Ronaldo was part of a side that lost 0-5 at home to arch-rivals Liverpool in a devastating defeat at Old Trafford.
