Balbir Sidhu cancels Lahore visit in protest against Pulwama attack

To lodge strongest protest against the dastardly attack on the CRPF at Pulwama, the Animal Husbandry and Labour Minister Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu cancelled his scheduled visit to attend International Buffalo Congress at Lahore. 

Disclosing this press communiqué, Mr. Balbir Singh said that he was going to take part the International Buffalo Congress which was been organized by the University of Animal & Veterinary Sciences, Lahore from 18 to 20 February. This Congress was to be attended by the representatives from different countries.  

He said that he was slated to go to Pakistan with the progressive farmers of the state to attend this International Congress. 

He said that gruesome attack on CRPF convoy has shaken him emotionally and in order to show his solidarity with the families of the Jawans who lost their lives, he decide to cancel his visit to Pakistan.

The Minister said that whole nation is standing rocksolid with the security forces and the nefarious acts of the terrorist to disturb the country's unity and integrity would be exposed with iron hand.

He said that India is the world's largest democracy and these terrorist groups will not ever succeed to hurt the unity and peace for their nefarious motives.

He said that with strong condemnation of this attack, Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has today presented a resolution in the Punjab Legislative Assembly, which was unanimously approved by all the political parties.
