Park Jihyo, the leader and main vocalist of the leading K-Pop girl group TWICE, will be the second member of the nonet to make her solo debut after Nayeon broke numerous records last year. The singer will make her solo debut with the mini album 'Zone' which will have 'Killin' Me Good' as the title track. The mini album will be released on 18th August at 1 pm KST i.e. 9:30 am IST. These details were announced with a teaser on 26th June at midnight KST via their official Twitter account showcasing various graphics such as flying candles, shimmering heart lights, broken glass, and seething waves, which made fans curious about the album's concept leading to them making their own theories.

As the concept for the album is still under wraps, the most prominent theory that Onces came up with is that the singer is including all her bandmates in the promotional material as the announcement video had nine graphic images. Similarly, Nayeon had an image in her trailer for her mini album Im Nayeon where a disc showed the official colors of all the nine members merging together into neon magenta and apricot which are their official group colors. TWICE is well-known for their close-knit sisterly bond which is often touted as one of the most authentic in the K-Pop industry and with the members supporting each other on their solo endeavors and including each other at every occasion they get is heartwarming. The group, which is still together as nine after breaking the 7-year curse still has a long way to go.

Jihyo is often praised for her heavenly vocals, deep and profound songwriting for the group's b-sides, and stage presence where you can't take your eyes off her whenever she performs. Rest assured, she will get all the opportunity at showing these skills at a more intricate level with her solo debut. ONCE's are well-spoiled this year with new music releases almost every month and with their beloved leader getting the moment to shine, things can't get any merrier for them.
