New set photos from Ohio have revealed David Corenswet's debut as Clark Kent in James Gunn's DC Universe reboot, 'Superman'. Fans have praised his comic book-accurate look, and the anticipated film is set for a 2025 release. The movie also stars Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, and other characters like Lois Lane and Perry White will make appearances. The recent set photos, shared by DCU_Updates, show Corenswet in a noticeably different appearance from his Superman persona. His portrayal of Clark Kent features a curly mane, which is a departure from recent versions of the character.

New pictures that have surfaced on social media show David Corenswet wearing the classic Superman costume on the set of the next Superman movie. In the photos, he has his hands tied behind his back and is being escorted by the military to a building identified as Metropolis City Hall.

Fans spotted a mysterious man with the letter ‘U’ on his all-black costume standing behind Superman. His face was covered by a black mask, leading to speculation that he could be Ultraman, Superman's evil counterpart from Earth-3, or Ulysses, also known as Neil Quinn, who works with the military against Superman. However, there's no official word on the storyline or villain in Superman: Legacy yet.

A user on X also compared the leaked photo of Superman's arrest to a scene from Zack Snyder's 2016 film Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, where the military is escorting Henry Cavill's Superman, who is handcuffed.

Additionally, people reported seeing Rachel Brosnahan on set, but she was dressed in all black to keep her costume concealed from photographers.

"Clark Kent and Superman look like two completely different people," commented a fan.

Another person said, "David Corenswet already looks like the perfect Clark Kent/Superman."

Skyler Gisondo has been cast as Jimmy Olsen, bringing Superman's best friend to life. Alongside him, characters such as Steve Lombard, played by Beck Bennett, and Cat Grant, portrayed by Mikaela Hoover, have also been spotted on set. Christopher McDonald stars as Ron Troupe, another member of the Daily Planet staff. However, fans are yet to see Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor in costume.

'Superman', scheduled for release on July 11, 2025, comes approximately 10 months after 'Joker: Folie à Deux' featuring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga. Other future DC films include 'Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow' and 'The Batman: Part II', both slated for release in 2026.

Production of 'Superman' is advancing rapidly, with numerous set photos highlighting the cast in their respective roles. The excitement among fans continues to build as more details about the film surface.
