Resume Delhi Metro in working hours, Open malls: Delhi Govt sends proposal to Central Govt for lockdown 4.0

PM Modi, in a meeting with chief ministers earlier this week, had sought suggestions from states for the next phase of the lockdown.

Few days back, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had asked the people of Delhi that relaxations they want in the lockdown 4.0. In return, he got plenty of suggestions. Combining those suggestions into a strategy form, the Delhi government has sent a proposal to the Central government for lockdown 4.0. PM Modi, in a meeting with chief ministers earlier this week, had sought suggestions from states for the next phase of the lockdown. 
 
So here is what Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Proposed:

-Opening of Public transport and shops in the Capital from next week.
-The system of zoning must be changed so that all of Delhi is not categorized under the red zone. 
-Other than the containment zones in Delhi, the remaining locations should be open for business.
-Public Transport: Start auto-rickshaws with one passenger and cab services like Uber, Ola with two riders other than the driver. 
-Metro Service: Metro rail service to function during office hours, with no standing and with social distancing norms in place
-Buses with a cap of 20 passengers have also been recommended
-Offices, private organizations could call up to 70 percent of the employees to the workplaces while the government can go up to 100 percent
-Restaurants and cafes continue to remain shut, both on high street and malls, except for takeaways
-Shops should be open going by their numbers i.e. by 'Odd-Even' formula.


-Whether it’s a shop in a mall or a marketplace, the one with odd number will open on one day and another with even number the next day, and so on with thermal screening etc. 
-Liquor shops are also in the list recommended for opening as the state needs revenues
-Cinema halls, cultural shows, spas, and barbershops to remain closed.
-Keep schools and other education institutions closed till at least June 30.
