On Saturday, 28th September, Popular Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh has one again won the hearts of his fans by his humble gestures. During his Dil-Luminati Manchester concert, Diljit Dosanjh was seen giving a warm welcome to one of his fans and he was also seen giving a gift to her. When he got to know that his female fan is from the neighboring country, Pakistan, he shared his heartfelt message with the audience and said that Punjabi people love everyone.

Diljit Dosanjh is currently performing across the United Kingdoms for his Dil-Luminati Tour. At the Dil-Luminati concert held in Manchester, he gifted a special present to one of his female fans. During their conversation, Diljit asked from where does she belong. In response, the female fan said that she has come from Pakistan. When Diljit got to know that she is from Pakistan, he shared a touching message with the audience, and the audience cheered for him. This incident’s video has gone viral on the internet and people are praising the singer for his sweet gestures. Diljit gifted a pair of shoes to his female fan from Pakistan.

What did Diljit Say to the audience?

In the message, Diljit said that these borders are made by our politicians but he believes that borders can’t divide people and art knows no boundary.

He said, “Hindustan, Pakistan, sade layi sara ek hi hai. Punjabiyan de dilan ich sabde layi pyar ae. Ae sarhada, ae borderan, ae politicana ne bnaye hoye ne, par jo Punjabi maa bolne vale hai, vo chahe edr rehnde ne chahe odr rehn dene, sade sare sanjhe ne. So jede mere desh to aye ne, India ton aye ne, ona nu vi swagat niga, te jede Pakistan ton aye ne, una nu vi swagat niga.” (“India and Pakistan are the same for me. Punjabis love everyone. All these borders are made by the politicians but Punjabi speaking people can be found in both the sides of the borders and they are all same. Therefore, people who have come from my country, India, I welcome them and people who have come from Pakistan are also warmly welcomed.”)

Diljit also introduced his family member to his fans for the time ever. He introduced his mother to the audience and said, “By the way, this is my mom.” After her mother, he introduced his sister and said, “She is my sister. My family has come here today.”
