Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon, constituency in-charge of Gidderbaha in Punjab and close to Sukhbir Badal, who said goodbye to Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), joined Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). CM Bhagwant Mann himself reached Gidderbaha to get him to join the party. CM hugged Dimpy as soon as he came on the stage. After this, he made him join the party by putting a Sirofa on him.
On this occasion, Dimpy said that he has served the Panth for 38 years. But what has happened to me? How many types of allegations are being made against me. I am being told that he was having meetings with the Aam Aadmi Party for two months.
Dimpy said that 5 days ago I got a call from CM sahab's OSD Rajbir Singh. After talking to him, I decided to join AAP. He said that I organised Sukhbir Badal's programmes for 4 days. He said that the protest started when Manpreet also became active in the area. But he did not clarify which party he would join.

While leaving SAD, Dimpy Dhillon had made it clear that she was leaving the party because of Manpreet Badal. His allegation was that even though Manpreet Badal is in BJP, whenever he goes to the area, he says that Sukhbir Badal and his relations are very good.
In such a situation, the workers are also confused. They had also asked Sukhbir Badal to clarify the situation, but he too was not saying anything. Neither was he himself talking about contesting the election from there, nor was he declared a candidate. Nepotism overshadowed their friendship. At the same time, he said that the tenure of the current government is still two years left. In such a situation, he could get his area developed. That is why he has decided to join the party.
