Edu dept to hold parent-teacher meetings from July 1 to plan students learning

The Punjab School Education Department has directed to hold parent-teacher meetings in all the schools on 1st and 2nd July 2021 for planning and further improving the education level of the students from pre-primary to XII classes.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the school education department said that the teachers have been asked to reach out to the students and their parents during the meetings so that the studies could be made continuously in a better way after the summer holidays. It may be mentioned that Punjab has got the top rank in the Performance Grading Index of schools among all the states and Union Territories.

Teachers have been directed to inform the parents and eminent personalities about the above said achievement so that enrollment of students in government schools can be increased.

During the meetings, the teachers are asked to share all the information with the parents of the students, regarding their health care, the date sheet of the examinations starting from 5th July, TV and other online classes. At the same time instructions have been given to make the parents aware about the steps being taken by the department to enhance the quality of education.
