With a few months still left for The Conjuring: Last Rites Release, the infamous haunted Annabelle doll has started to spread panic among Americans. Americans are taking to social media and weaving multiple conspiracy theories surrounding the Annabelle Doll. Annabelle Doll Missing has now become a topic of discussion. Locals have claimed that Annabelle went missing after several fires in New Orleans this month.
Annabelle Doll Missing Reports gained momentum even more after the conspiracy theorists linked a fire incident that broke out at the historic Nottoway Plantation, now known as Nottoway Resort, in White Castle, Louisiana. Fortunately, no injuries were reported but Americans on social media linked the Nottoway Plantation fire to Annabelle being displayed in Louisiana during its paranormal tour.
A user on X wrote, "Three days ago they moved Annabelle, one of the most haunted dolls from Monroe, Connecticut to New Orleans, Louisiana and now the largest sugarcane plantation in Louisiana burned down AND 11 inmates in a New Orleans Prison escape. Didn't the Warren's say she should never be moved."
Another user wrote, "So the streets are saying after they moved the Annabelle doll out of the Warren museum (when they explicitly said never to move it) she's now gone missing."
One more user wrote, "May 13, 2025, Annabelle, one of the most haunted dolls from Monroe, Connecticut was moved to New Orleans, Louisiana. May 15th, the Nottoway Plantation burned down. May 16th, 11 inmates escaped the Orleans Parish Prison escape. The Warrens warned, Annabelle should never be moved."
Truth Behind the Annabelle Doll Missing Reports
As per Economic Times, the Warrens' Occult Museum in Connecticut, where Annabelle resides in a sealed glass enclosure, was the one that was in the limelight. The doll had been taken on tour but never got lost. Chris McKinnell, the grandson of the Warrens and the current caretaker, put the rumors to rest decisively saying, "Annabelle is here. She's not going anywhere. She didn't go anywhere. She's where she needs to be." Video by Dan Rivera of NESPR assured the doll's safe placement in the museum. Hence, it can be inferred that claims of the Annabelle doll missing are a mere conspiracy theory started for engagement farming on social media.
