Ranveer Allahbadia aka BeerBiceps has been facing the ire of social media as well as Police action looming on him ever since he attended India's Got Latent. Ranveer Allahbadia's one joke that was incest in nature put the entire show India's Got Latent under public scrutiny. Not only this, multiple FIRs were registered against Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and people associated with India's Got Latent. What was even more attention-grabbing was when the Maharashtra Police Cyber Cell announced it had booked 30 to 40 people including judges and contestants who appeared at India's Hot Latent. In the viral video, Ranveer Allahbadia can be seen in tears. Emotional podcaster in the video was heard saying that 'he feels guilty that he has exposed his team'. The video is linked to India's Got Latent. The video is being spread with the claims that Ranveer Allahbadia has issued another apology video in which he was seen crying. 

In the video Ranveer says, "Mujhe isliye bura lag raha hai kyunki sab kaam band ho gaya (I feel bad because all the work has stopped)... I just feel I am guilty. Poori team ko aise expose kar diya. Meri wajah se poora kaam band ho gaya hai (I exposed the entire team. Because of me, all the work has stopped)."

Truth Behind Ranveer Allahbadia's Crying Video

However, the claims that Ranveer started crying during Instagram Live video for his joke at India's Got Latent is totally fake and misleading. The video in which Ranveer Allahbadia can be seen crying is 3 years old. Ranveer shared the video on his YouTube channel 3 years back with the caption, "This Is NOT Clickbait - My Covid-19 Experience"

Ranveer Allahbadia had tested positive for COVID back then, and this was a video he posted right after that. The original video opens with him getting a Covid-19 test and saying, “Hi guys, I just tested positive for Covid.”

Ranveer Allahbadia's real apology

It is pertinent to mention here that Ranveer Allahbadia has issued an apology. A day after the uproar, Ranveer took to his Instagram handle and shared an apology video in which he said, "My comment wasn't just inappropriate, it was not even funny. Comedy is not my forte, I am just here to say sorry. Obviously this is not how I wish to use it. I am not going to give any context or justification or reasoning behind whatever happened. I am just here for an apology. I personally had a lapse in judgement. It wasn't cool on my part," he said. The podcast is watched by people of all ages, I don't want to be the kind of person that takes that responsibility lightly and family is the last thing I would ever disrespect."
