Day after Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh drafted a letter to PM Narendra Modi suggesting five key-points on tackling covid19 crisis, reports are being received, he has tested positive for covid19 and is undergoing treatment at AIIMS.
Sources informed that Dr Singh was having fever since Sunday evening and today he was taken to AIIMS for further treatment.
Rahul Gandhi took to twitter and wished Dr. Manmohan Singh,a speedy recovery. He said “India needs your guidance and advice in this difficult time”.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted saying "Just got the news that former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Ji has tested positive for COVID. Sir, our thoughts and prayers for a speedy and full recovery."
Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh tweeted, “Wishing former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji, who has tested positive for #Covid19, a speedy recovery. All our best wishes are with you Sir. Get well soon!”
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tweeted, “My prayers are with Manmohan Singh ji and his family today, and my deepest respect. May he fight this scourge with all his might and get well soon”.
