Fans of Kapil Sharma and his entire team must have been on cloud nine after Netflix announced the renewal of 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' For Season 2.
The Great Indian Kapil Show which had a successful run on the small screen wrapped up recently after 13 episodes. Exclusively to ETimes TV, sources close to the project revealed that the TGIKS crew will begin filming the episode on August 13.
The Bollywood Wives will appear in the first episode of the show, which premieres on Tuesday.
Some of the biggest personalities in Bollywood, music, and cricket can be seen in TGIKS season one. The show featured a number of well-known figures from the entertainment industry, including international singer Ed Sheeran, actor Ranbir Kapoor, his mother Neetu Kapoor, and his sister Ridheema Sahni. This time, Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, who had never before visited Kapil's show, made an exception and shared some personal details about his life.
The finale of the season one of The Great Indian Kapil Show ended on a high note with Sunil Grover and Krushna Abhishek appearing in the episode as Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Their mimicry and comic timing left the audiences and fans of the show in splits of laughter. Not just that the guests for the finale episode were Kartik Aaryan and his mother. Their bond and Kartik’s mother revealing some unknown facts about her son’s life was also the highlight of the episode.
With season 2 going on floors, it will be interesting to see which celebrities will make an appearance on the show as guests this time.
