HCL has announced that it is going to provide a one-time special bonus to its employees who have a service of one year or more, worth Rs 700 crore across the globe.
HCL has crossed $10 billion in 2020. HCL's full time employees are 159,682 as of December 31, 2020. The company is going to give bonus to its employees because it has earned revenue worth billions in 2020. HCL Tech in a statement said that achieving such a milestone just 20 years since HCL Technologies' IPO, it is a testament to the company's efforts and passionate achievements of its employees.
Apparao VV, Chief Human Resource Officer at HCL Tech said, "Our employees are our most valuable asset. Despite an unrelenting pandemic, each and every member of our HCL family has demonstrated immense commitment and passion, contributing to the growth of the organization."
He added, "The $10 billion revenue milestone is a testament of our remarkable resilience as an organization and the entrepreneurial spirit of our 159,000+ employees. With this gesture, we want to sincerely express our gratitude to our employees and their families for all their support."
The bonus is likely to be paid in February 2021.
