Former Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal has come out loud after the Current CM Captain Amarinder Singh hinted that the probe in the Behbal Kalan and Kotkapura firing sacrilege case will be taken up even more seriously and the culprits won't be spared. The Akali Dal Supremo said that he is ready for any arrest or probe by the Special Investigation Team (SIT).
“I don’t want to waste time and resources of Punjab, so I have offered myself for arrest. Since they have decided to do so, I am here in Chandigarh for it. I will be happy if my last days are spent in Amarinder jail.” said Parkash Singh Badal.
Badal added that he has always stood up against political repression throughout his life, putting allegations on Capt Amarinder Singh that he had earlier also booked them in false cases. “Even my wife was put behind bars. So, I am sure they are arresting us again,” he said.
He alleged that Capt Amarinder and the Congress always wanted to control gurdwaras.
