"I don’t have any communication as to why it got postponed": Manoj Bajpayee Breaks Silence On Delay of 'The Family Man 2'

Amidst the reports that the much-awaited 'The Family Man 2' release date has been shifted due to the Tandav web-series controversy, actor Manoj Bajpayee has finally broken his silence. It was reported that the trailer of Manoj Bajpayee spy-thriller web-series will release on January 19. However, the trailer was never released and it was reported that due to the various cases filed against the Amazon Prime and Tandav web-series makers the OTT platform has decided to postpone the release date. It was said that due to the controversy, several rounds of talks have taken place between Ali Abbas Zafar and Amazon Prime Original Content chief Aparna Purohit and they decided to talk about the release for now. 

Now, Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee who plays the main character in the web-series has responded to the reports. Talking to Spotboye, Manoj said, "As an actor in the series I don’t have any communication as to why it got postponed. I trust Amazon’s decision, whatever the reason may be. Also, I think that Amazon is represented by some very responsible and intelligent people in India and they know what’s best for the Show and we trust them. All I will say jab bhi ayenge, dhamaka lekar, dhamake ke sath aayenge (laughing)."

Following Tandav, one more controversy is in making i.e. Mirzapur. An FIR has been filed against the Mirzapur makers, however, the Allahabad High Court has granted protection from arrest to the makers i.e. to Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Although in the case of Tandav, no protection has been granted even to the Amazon Prime Original Content chief Aparna Purohit.
