‘I have survived challenges’: Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s first post after Raj Kundra’s arrest

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra remains very active on social media. Before her husband’s arrest she was promoting her movie ‘Hungama 2’ diligently on her Instagram handle.

 

Involvement of her husband, Raj Kundra in pornography case came out as a big shock for everyone. Shilpa stepped out from ‘Super Dancer’ show after this incident came into limelight.

 

Late Thursday, Shilpa shared a glimpse of book and focused on a quote by James Thurber in her Instagram story. This was her first post after her husband’s arrest.

 

She posted a quote that read, "Do not look back in anger; or forward in fear but around in awareness."

 

It reads further, "We look back in anger at the people who've hurt us, the frustrations we've felt, the bad luck we've endured. We look forward in fear at the possibility that we might lose our job, contract a disease, or suffer the death of a loved one. The place we need to be is right here, right now—not looking anxiously at what has been or what might be, but fully aware of what is."

 

"I take a deep breath, knowing that I'm lucky to be alive. I have survived challenges in the past and will survive challenges in the future. Nothing need distract me from living my life today," it concluded.

 

On Monday, Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police. The police stated that Raj Kundra appears to be the ‘key conspirator’ in this pornography case. Moreover, they have sufficient evidences against him.

The police have also clarified that till now there is no active involvement of Shilpa Shetty in this pornography case.

 

Raj Kundra’s lawyer said that such charges on his client are baseless. They had sought anticipatory bail in this case, but, Raj Kundra was taken into custody till 23rd July.
