The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has declared the results for Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) on May 14, 2023, at 3 pm. The official websites for checking the results are cisce.org or results.cisce.org. Students can enter their roll number or registration number and other details to check their result.

This year, girls have outperformed boys in both Class 10 and Class 12. In the ICSE exams, the girls got 99.21%, and boys scored 98.71%. Similarly, in the ISC exams, girls’ pass percentage is at 98.01% while boys are at 95.96%. Last year, as many as 96,940 students appeared in ISC Class 12 exams and recorded a pass percentage of 99.38%.

The duration of the exam was 2 hours for most of the papers and 3 hours for a few. The first paper was English Language, and students were given 15 minutes to read the question paper.

The CISCE is responsible for conducting the Indian School Certificate (ISC) and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) examinations for Class 12 and Class 10 students, respectively. The ICSE exams were conducted between February 27 and March 29, while the ISC exams were conducted from February 13 to March 31.

The CISCE had earlier announced that it would not release the merit list or the toppers' names this year, citing its decision to not rank students due to the pandemic. The CISCE had said that "the safety and wellbeing of our students is our top priority and we have taken this decision in the larger interest of our students."
