On 18th December, Wednesday, the Income Tax Department team raided Dr. Sumita Sofat's house and hospital in Ludhiana this morning. This raid happened after a case of tax fraud came to light. The officials have started searching the house and the hospital. The officials are checking the documents and the investigation is underway.
Dr. Sumita Sofat’s Hospital is an IVF centre in Ludhiana, Punjab. Dr. Sumita has attained her academic qualifications from a Government Medical College, Patiala and Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMC&H), Ludhiana and has earned a Master’s Degree in Gynaecology.
