New Zealand were put to bat after losing the toss and they made the most out of a rather flat pitch scoring a more than par score.
Kuldeep Yadav was the most effective bowler in the Indian bowling line-up picking up 2 wickets at an economy of 6.50 runs.
It will be interesting to see how the Indian batsmen fare in the mammoth chase of 212 runs as they are out in the middle to chase.
