Is Indian Police Force a true story?

The answer is no. Indian Police Force is an original story directed by  Rohit Shetty, and Sushwanth Prakash. Although the story is fictional, Indian Police Force makers have used real terms and names of terrorist organizations i.e. Indian Mujahideen. The Indian Police Force starts with 6 serial bomb blasts in Delhi on Delhi Police Raising Day. Out of 6, 4 bombs were detonated killing at least 250 innocent civilians, while 2 others were defused by Delhi Police Special Cell led by Vivek Oberoi and Sidharth Malhotra. As the story progresses, a man named Haider can be seen performing the role of the handler of at least 4 terrorists who planted bombs in Delhi. Not only this, Haider is living in Delhi with a family in disguise. Amazon Prime Video's Indian Police Force indeed gives you adrenaline rush and is a must watch for this weekend.

Now, talking about Indian Police Force's True Story, Indian Mujahideen is a real terrorist organization that has carried out multiple blasts in India killing thousands of people. Indian Mujahideen has been active since at least 2005 when it bombed the Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi (where eight people were injured). The terror group was founded as an offshoot of the Students' Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) by several radicalized members including Iqbal Bhatkal, Riyaz Bhatkal, Yasin Bhatkal, etc. Notably, Yasin Bhatkal's arrest by the Indian agencies is among the most historic achievements in the Indian history when it comes to crackdown on terrorism.

IM Co-founder, Yasin Bhatkal aka Syed Mohammed Ahmed Zarar Siddibappa was arrested in 2013 near the Indo-Nepal border in Bihar. As per reports,  Yasin Bhatkal entered Pakistan in early 2006 on a regular commercial flight from Dubai even though he did not have a visa and was whisked away from the aircraft by his contacts to avoid immigration checks. Yasin was taken to a hilly region with little habitation around, about 8–10 hours from Karachi, and believed to be somewhere in the Pakistani province of Balochistan. Bhatkal received training in Pakistan. Indian authorities had announced a reward of Rs 1 million ($14,862; £9,583) for information leading to his arrest. Finally, Bhatkal was arrested along with another member of the IM who has been identified as Asadullah Akhtar. Notably, a movie has also been made showcasing how the Indian Police forces nabbed him along the Indo-Nepal border. The movie name is India's Most Wanted and Arjun Kapoor plays the protagonist.
