Indian Railways launches 10 reservation-free trains; Check the routes & timings

Indian Railways has announced the operation of 10 new trains for the convenience of passengers. One can travel in these trains even without reservation. These trains will be run especially on those routes where the passengers are more in number.

In order to travel, passengers will have to take only general tickets which can be purchased from the railway station counter or through the UTS app. Railways has prepared these 10 trains to connect major cities of the country. These trains will have general and seating class coaches.

Here’s the list and timing of trains:

 

  • Delhi - Jaipur Express
  • Departure from Delhi: 6:00 am
  • Arrival in Jaipur: 1:30 pm

 

  • Mumbai - Pune Superfast
  • Departure from Mumbai: 7:30 am
  • Arrival in Pune: 11:00 am

 

  • Kolkata - Patna Intercity
  • Departure from Kolkata: 5:00 am
  • Arrival in Patna: 2:00 pm

 

  • Chennai - Bengaluru Express
  • Departure from Chennai: 8:00 am
  • Arrival in Bangalore: 3:30 pm

 

  • Ahmedabad - Surat Fast
  • Departure from Ahmedabad: 7:00 am
  • Arrival in Surat: 12:30 PM

 

  • Lucknow - Varanasi Express
  • Departure from Lucknow: 7:00 am
  • Arrival in Varanasi: 1:30 pm

 

  • Bhopal Indore Intercity
  • Departure from Bhopal: 6:30 am
  • Arrival at Indore: 12:00 noon

 

  • Hyderabad- Vijayawada Express
  • Departure from Hyderabad: 7:30 am
  • Arrival at Vijayawada: 2:00 PM

 

  • Jaipur - Ajmer Fast
  • Departure from Jaipur: 8:00 am
  • Arrival at Ajmer: 11:30 am

 

  • Patna - Gaya Express
  • Departure from Patna: 6:00 am
  • Arrival at Gaya: 9:30 am

 

How to book tickets?

In order to travel on these trains, passengers can buy normal tickets from the ticket counter of the railway station. Apart from this, tickets can also be booked through the UTS app. This app allows passengers to book tickets online without reservation.

The operation of these trains will start from 20th January 2025. Passengers are advised to book their tickets in advance in order to avoid rush during travel.

This initiative is introduced to give people a more convenient, faster and economical travel experience. Now people can avail the tickets of these new trains without any hassle and make their journey easier.
