Initially connecting with other young influencers, she quickly gained popularity, attracting modeling gigs and substantial financial support through donations, accumulating $20,000.
However, Instagram's algorithms reportedly facilitated the influx of inappropriate comments and attention from adult male followers, escalating when she introduced a paid subscription model for "super-fans." Her parents expressed concern over the disturbing nature of comments about her body, labeling these followers as part of the industry's "seedy underbelly."
Meta maintains that it prohibits users under 13 from creating accounts independently but faces criticism for algorithmic shortcomings that allegedly direct users toward inappropriate content. Despite the challenges, the girl's mother actively moderates comments and restricts certain types of photos on her daughter's account.
