The International Tea Day is celebrated in mid-May because the world’s finest tea gardens in Darjeeling and Nepal give the first harvest in the spring – between March and May. A cup of tea is the best solution for any trouble like sleepy, tired, cough, or cold. 

There are many interesting facts about tea-like, it is one of the oldest beverages in the world and is most popular after water. As per reports, Tea was originated in Northeast India, North Myanmar, and Southwest China. Tea is a beverage made from the ‘Camellia Sinensis plant. 

Along with these facts, here are four types of tea which would relax the body as well as mind and can be prepared in a short time. 

1. Lavender Tea: 


How to make: All lavender flowers in boiling water and cook them for five minutes. Then stir, then pour tea in a cup with a sieve and enjoy the tea.

Benefits: Lavender tea helps in providing efficient sleep as it relaxes the mind. 

2. Chamomile Tea: 


How to make: Heat the water and once start boiling all chamomile flowers. Allow the tea to boil for ten minutes then sieve it in a cup, add honey, and drink. 

Benefits: To reduce the stress produced due to the low level of serotonin and melatonin hormones you can have a cup of chamomile tea. This will control the level of hormones in your body. 

3. Cinnamon Tea: 


How to make: Add water to a pan, heat it. Mix grated ginger and a small piece of cinnamon in it. Boil for two minutes. According to taste, add honey or jaggery, and then enjoy the tea.

Benefits: Drinking the tea will increase insulin resistance in the body, which helps in controlling blood sugar levels. The tea is beneficial for diabetic patients. Rich in antioxidants, this tea helps in lowering cholesterol levels in the body. 

4. Mint Tea:


How to make: Heat water in a pan. Add some mint leaves, black pepper, and black salt in it and heat it until boils. Sieve it and drink.

Benefits: People having stomach-related problems like constipation, stomachache should drink mint tea. Drinking this tea relaxes the stomach muscles and makes you feel relaxed. The tea is also effective in fat burning.
