According to a Piplsay poll, Americans think of Hollywood stars as politicians, with 58 percent supporting Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Matthew McConaughey for political office.

"30 percent of Americans would like to see Angelina Jolie run for president," according to the poll, while another 22% would vote for Tom Hanks.

The survey included over 30,000 adults in the United States.

Dwayne shared a Newsweek story, saying that the votes are "humbling" and that it will be an honor to represent the people.

"Humbling. I don't think our Founding Fathers EVER envisioned a six-four, bald, tattooed, half-Black, half-Samoan, tequila drinking, pick up truck driving, fanny pack wearing guy joining their club - but if it ever happens it'd be my honor to serve you, the people".

In a previous report, the actor also announced that he once considered working for the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency).

"Fun fact: in college, my goal was to eventually work for the CIA. Until my criminal justice professor and advisor (Dr. Paul Cromwell) convinced me that the best operative I could become for the agency is one that also had a law degree."

He also revealed in a November 2016 interview, "I'll be honest, I haven't ruled politics out.

I'm not being coy when I say that, but at the moment I am not sure.I can't deny that the thought of being governor, the thought of being president, is alluring. And beyond that, it would be an opportunity to make a real impact on people's lives on a global scale. But there are a lot of other things I want to do first."

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is a former football player, actress, producer, and retired professional wrestler.

He announced in September 2020 that he and his entire family had tested positive for COVID-19 but had recovered fully.

He starred in movies including The Mummy Returns, The Scorpion King, Fast & Furious 6, Fast & Furious 7, The Fate of the Furious, San Andreas, and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Jumanji.
