A racket was going on in the Jalandhar district of Punjab where some people were selling infants at the cost of 3-4 lakhs. These children were sold to those people who couldn’t afford to get the IVF done.
As soon as the ADC of Jalandhar, Maj. Amit Sareen got information regarding it, he launched a sting operation for the same. The sting operation was carried out successfully and they were able to save a 15-day-old girlchild.
During an interview with TrueScoop Maj. Amit Sareen revealed that Jalandhar Administration carried out a sting operation during which they saved a 15-day-old girlchild from getting sold.
The investigation regarding this is going on under CWC and they have assured that they will soon find the culprits who all are involved in this racket.
