Jalandhar: Dead body of youth found in deserted area, family suspects murder

Police reached the spot and started investigation of the case by taking possession of the dead body.

On Tuesday, around 12 noon in Dharampura, under Jamsher outpost of police station Sadar area of ​​the metropolis, there was a stir after some locals discovered a dead body under suspicious circumstances and soaked in blood.

 

After getting information about the incident, the police of Jamsher outpost reached the spot and started investigation into the matter. The deceased has been identified as Hansraj Kaku son of Billa resident of Billa, whose age is said to be around 32 years. The deceased used to work as a sofa maker and had come out of the house with a friend on Tuesday morning, after which his body was found in a deserted area near Dharmapura Primary School.

 

After that he was immediately brought to the hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead. Earlier it was being said that he had been shot in the head due to a scar behind his ear. But, the police is investigating the matter.

 

Giving information about the matter, outpost in-charge Major Singh said that the body has been taken in his possession and sent for post-mortem.

At the same time, it is not clear whether the young man died due to bullet or any sharp object. The cause of death of the youth will be known after the post-mortem report comes. Along with this, CCTV cameras installed on the roads leading to the spot are being investigated so that it can be ascertained with whom the youth had come till the spot.
