All schools and universities closed in Punjab

Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains on Thursday night announced the closure of all schools and colleges in the state for the next three days. Harjot Bains took to his official X handle and announced, "In view of the evolving situation, it is hereby ordered that all Schools, Colleges, and Universities — Government, Private, and Aided — across entire Punjab shall remain completely closed for the next three days."

The decision of schools and colleges' holidays in Punjab came in the backdrop of Pakistan's cowardly drone attacks that targeted multiple districts of Punjab. However, Indian defence system worked swiftly and neutralized all drones in the sky itself, and no casualty was reported.
