Four of Jalandhar’s Lok Sabha candidates, including Ex-Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi filed their nomination papers on the fourth day of nominations for the Lok Sabha elections on Friday. First, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate Balwinder Kumar submitted his nomination papers to District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal.
After this, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Sushil Kumar Rinku filed his nomination papers followed by Shiromani Akali Dal’s (SAD) candidate Mohinder Singh Kaypee.
Lastly, Congress candidate Ex-CM Charanjit Singh Channi filed his nomination papers. Candidates of all parties gathered their supporters before filing their nomination papers and also took out road shows towards the DC office complex.
