In Mithapur neighbourhood of Jalandhar, Punjab a distressing and moving incident has come to light.
A woman had gone to her maternal house, but under unknown circumstances she died. The dead body was brought to the man’s house.
However, the sight of the lifeless body of his beloved and life partner was unbearable and the middle-aged man was overpowered by emotions.

He took his licensed pistol and shot himself.
The man and the woman have left behind children.
The deceased man has been identified as Mohan Paul Singh, aged 44.
