JEE 2021: JEE advanced admission process postponed; Mains result to be declared soon

It is expected that NTA would announce the result of JEE Mains 4th session exam today (September 11), students may check their results and other updates on the official website of NTA – jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Mains 4th session result 2021, is expected to be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) anytime now. Candidates may check their scorecards on the official websites of NTA – jeemain.nta.nic.in, nta.nic.in, and ntaresults.nic.in. 

The official date and time for the announcement of the result have not been declared by the NTA but as per the schedule of other entrance exams like – JEE Advanced, and IIT entrance exams, it is expected that the result would be declared soon.

 More than 7 lakh students are waiting for the result of JEE Mains and the top 2,50,000 rank students would be eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced. For now, the application process for JEE Advance has been postponed by the testing agency.

Changes by NTA:

  • This time NTA would not entertain revaluation or re-checking of the JEE Mains exam, the announced result would be final.
  • This year, NTA has changed the tie-breaker formula.
  • JEE mains and other competitive exams would be more crucial as “Board Exam Criteria” has been relaxed by the government. 
  • Candidates may apply for JEE mains multiply times, which would definitely increase competition and the cut-off is expected to go high. 
  • NTA has also dropped the age criteria, this year.

The scorecard would be available on Digilocker, the JEE Mains’ AIR would be available on jeemains.nta.nic.in, the list of AIR rank holders will be available publicly.
