Amazon Prime released the official trailer of “Jee Karda”, a tale of seven childhood friends who navigate the maze of love, friendship and heartbreak.

It stars Tamannah Bhatia along with Aashim Gulati, Suhail Nair, Anya Singh and Hussain Dalal in prominent roles.

The upcoming series co-written by Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal is scheduled to release on Thursday, 15 June 2023 and will be available for the audience to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

The series is produced by Maddock Films and is directed by Arunima Sharma who has Shor Se Shuruat (2016) and Foto (2007) to her credit.

The trailer introduces us to the quintessential tale and journey of seven millennials who have been friends since childhood. They fall back on each other through thick and thin and rely on their support, seek dating advice, share happiness and woes, handle breakups and much more. While they explore the different vibrant colours and hues of life, they are struck with conundrums and questions only to realise that life can sometimes be a shade of grey too.

Rishab played by Suhail Nayyar proposes marriage to Lavanya portrayed by Tamannaah Bhatia his long-time girlfriend of 12 years. Well, it may have been possible that he took this decision while being in an intoxicated state.

Aashim Gulati, Anya Singh, Hussain Dalal, Sayan Banerjee, and Samvedna Suwalka portray the school friends who enthusiastically join the wedding festivities. However, as the celebrations progress, growing complications begin to jeopardize their once seamless camaraderie.
