JEE Mains 4th Session Result: NTA likely to declare result today, check other details here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to announce the result of JEE Mains fourth session on September 10. Candidates may check their score at the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency would announce the result of Joint Entrance Exam – Mains (JEE-Mains) session 4 on late September 10 (Friday). Candidates may check their score at official websites – jeemain.nta.nic.in, ntaresults.nic.in and nta.ac.in.

It is expected that the result would be declared today as the registration process for JEE – Advance would begin from tomorrow, as per the information shared by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. 

The category-wise cut-off and all India merit list would be announced along with the result of JEE Mains 4th session.

JEE Main result 2021 4th session will be announced for both paper 1 – BE, BTech and paper 2 – BArch and BPlanning.

JEE Mains 4th Session Result: How to download?

Candidates may check/ download their results by following the below-mentioned steps: 

Step 1: Go to the official website of NTA – jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link which read, “JEE MAINS 4TH SESSION RESULT 2021.”

Step 3: Enter all the required credentials and click on the “submit” button. 

Step 4: Result would appear, check and download it. 

Step 5: Take a printout for further reference. 


JEE Mains 4th Session Result: Marking Scheme

The JEE Main paper comprised -- Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Each subject had multiple-choice questions and numerical-based questions.

The marking scheme for JEE Mains 2021 is:

Section-A (MCQs)

Correct answer: +4 marks

Incorrect answer: -1 mark

Unanswered: 0

Correct answer: +4 marks

JEE Mains 4th Session Result: Changes introduced by NTA

  • This year, NTA has changed the tie-breaker formula.
  • JEE mains and other competitive exams would be more crucial as “Board Exam Criteria” has been relaxed by the government. 
  • Candidates may apply for JEE mains multiply times, which would definitely increase competition and the cut-off is expected to go high. 
  • NTA has also dropped the age criteria, this year.
