Business journalist Sucheta Dalal, credited for uncovering Scam – 1992, was trending on Twitter, users attributed the sudden fall in the Adani group’s stock to the tweet posted by her. 

In the tweet she is hinting about a ‘scandal’, Dalal hasn’t named any company in her tweet. 

She tweeted that nothing has changed and her tweet read, “Another scandal hard to probe outside the black box of information available with SEBI tracking systems is the return of an operator of the past who is relentlessly rigging prices of one group.”

For companies of Gautam Adani, this Monday’s morning was not good. Actually, the shares of the group’s six listed companies saw a decline from 5% to 22%. Among these, the most declined are shares of Adani Enterprises. This share broke by 22% to come at Rs 1,200. On Friday, the stock had closed on Rs 1,600. After this, the remaining companies' stocks also broke like this. Investors in the opening hour lost about 50,000 crore rupees.
