Kangana Ranaut is the most talked Bollywood actress in today's time. Thanks to her nature of voicing out her opinion on almost every topic going on in India. However, Kangana does not only voice her opinion on every controversial issue, sometimes she herself lit the fire of controversy. 1.  Queen


A Delhi girl from a traditional family sets out on a solo honeymoon after her marriage gets canceled. Kangana Ranaut plays the character of a  young Punjabi woman living in Delhi who is wooed ardently by Vijay (Rajkummar Rao). He’s the son of a family friend, her parents know him and hence she says yes to the match. However, Vijay cancels the wedding one day before marriage. For 'Queen' Kangana has joined hands with Vikas Bahl and Anurag Kashyap. Ironically now it seems impossible that Kangana and Anurag will ever work together. Queen released in 2013 and even today its rating on IMDb is 8.2. Kangana even won National Award and Filmfare Award for the movie Queen.

2. Gangster 


Kangana Ranaut's first movie Gangster along with Emraan Hashmi and Shiney Ahuja marked the advent of a new talented actress in Bollywood. Kangana's debut movie Gangster released in 2006 in which the actress plays the character of a complex character of an alcoholic and troubled gangster’s love. Simran (Kangana) is the girlfriend of an Indian gangster Daya (Shiney Ahuja) who has run away with him to Seoul. While he’s away on business, she meets with an Indian singer called Akash (Emraan Hashmi) and falls in love with him. In the end, Kangana dies by suicide after she gets betrayed by Emraan Hashmi. Even after so many years, the IMDb rating of Gangster is 7.1.

3. Fashion


 Another Kangana Ranaut's masterpiece in terms of acting, the actress won another national award for her strong performance in the movie 'Fashion'. The storyline of the movie is a small-town girl who finally realizes her dream of becoming a famous supermodel but soon finds out that there's a price for her glamorous new life. Fashion was directed by Madhu Bhandarkar who took the audience on the seamier side of the fashion industry. Kangana plays a supermodel named Shonali Gujral. She’s shown as a troubled personality, who is unable to handle fame and success and the pressure of being at the top in a cutthroat industry. Although the protagonist of the movie was Priyanka Chopra, it was Kangana's performance that became the talk of the town. 

4. Tannu Weds Mannu


Released in 2011, Kangana Ranaut one of the most successful movies of all time, Tanu Weds Mannu is a story about the complications of arrange and love marriage.  Kangana plays the title character of Tanu, a strong-headed, strong-willed woman who at first rejects arranged marriage with Manu (Madhavan) because she already has a boyfriend, Raja (JimmyShergill). In the end, she ends up marrying Manu after she falls in love with him at her friend's wedding. 

5. Tanu Weds Manu 2


Tanu Weds Manu 2 is the sequel of Tanu and Manu. Tanu and Manu's marriage collapses. Manu meets Tanu's lookalike Kusum and decided to marry and divorce Tanu. Like other movies, Kangana yet again carries the entire movie on her own. Kangana's portrayal of Haryanavi girl Kusum is being widely appreciated by all till now. Kangana also went on another National Award for best actress for her acting in Tanu Weds Manu Returns. 

6. Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai


Released in 2010 under Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures, Kangana portrays the character of a successful actress who soon starts dating a Don of Mumbai. The basic storyline of the movie is a smuggler rises to power in 1970s Mumbai, a younger gangster seeks to overthrow him and a police officer is caught in the middle. The movie portrays the connection of the underworld with Bollywood. Even after 10 years, the IMDb rating of this movie is 7.4.

7. Krrish 3


Although Kangana is known for doing films that are strong in characters, the actress took a great risk by nodding to act in a super-hero movie. Still, Kangana opted for it as she played a mutant named Kaya in this superhero flick. Kaya has the chameleon DNA mixed with her genes and as a result, can shape-shift into anybody. Through this movie, fans witnessed the chemistry of Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut for the first on screens. Although they might not be seeing ever again on the screens, Kangana's performance was much admired despite her playing a grey character.

8. Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi


Story of Rani Lakshmibai, one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857 and her resistance to the British Rule. Kangana plays the character of Rani Lakshmibai. However, the movie became the center of controversy as Director Krish left the project, as did most of the technical team. Even Sonu Sood left the movie after doing half of his role. 

9.Panga


Panga is inspired from the life of a national level Kabbadi player from India. It follows her triumphs, struggle and overcoming of stereotypes. It shows how important the love and support of your family is for you to be successful. Kangana Ranaut is a world-class Kabaddi player who gets a job in the Railways under the sports quota and later kind of loses her identity under the realities of being a wife and a mother. She plans on making a comeback to the game at the age of 32.

10. Judgementall Hai Kya


Following the story of two quirky individuals whose lives pivot between reality and illusions. Bobby (Kangana Ranaut) suffers from a kind of multiple personality disorder because she witnessed the accidental death of her parents as a child. It's her second movie with Rajkumar Rao after Queen.
